The Saadiyat Marina District - Garden Villas Project in Abu Dhabi was a prominent residential development executed for ALDAR, in collaboration with KEO International Consultants. Aimed at delivering premium luxury living spaces, the project required a meticulous digital engineering approach to perfectly refine and coordinate the interior aesthetics within the broader architectural framework. This initiative was structured to ensure that the high-end design intent was accurately captured, fully compliant with industry standards, and seamlessly constructible.
This project centered on the comprehensive interior design updation of an existing Level of Development (LOD) 300 Revit model. To support the project's evolving architectural requirements, the specific deliverables included meticulously revising the Detailed Design (DD) stage sheets. Furthermore, the final handover package consisted of the fully updated LOD 300 Revit models, comprehensive PDF sheets, and Navisworks (NWC) files. This robust digital foundation was essential for maintaining strict design accuracy and aesthetic integrity across the luxury villas.
Integrating intricate interior design updates into an existing structural model often presents significant spatial and coordination challenges. To ensure a flawless transition from design to physical reality, BIM Studio was enlisted to provide specialized interior design Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. Utilizing a suite of advanced software—including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and the BIM 360 cloud platform—our team proactively performed rigorous clash coordination. By identifying and resolving spatial conflicts in a purely virtual environment before construction began, we maintained strict compliance with established BIM standards and provided the contractors with the precise, clash-free documentation needed for a smooth and highly efficient execution.
