The Commercial Offices and Kindergarten project in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia was a significant architectural development executed for the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. Designed to provide modern commercial workspaces alongside specialized early-education facilities, this dual-purpose development required a highly sophisticated engineering approach. Working in close collaboration with SIEC as the lead consultant, the project aimed to seamlessly blend functional, contemporary design with the region's broader architectural and cultural vision.
Focused on the meticulous development and refinement of the facility's architectural models. This involved a comprehensive update of the existing Building Information Models based directly on rigorous Schematic Design (SD) reviews. To support the demanding timeline, the required deliverables demanded the generation of highly coordinated layouts, enlarged architectural plans, and finalized Detailed Design (DD) BIM models. These digital assets were accurately extracted and delivered across PDF, DWG, and native Revit formats to support the subsequent construction phases.
Managing the diverse spatial requirements of both a commercial office environment and a kindergarten facility naturally presented unique coordination challenges. To ensure a flawless transition from design to construction, BIM Studio provided specialized architectural Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. Our team established a centralized digital environment by uploading models to the BIM 360 cloud platform, allowing us to proactively coordinate the architectural models with various intersecting engineering disciplines. By resolving complex spatial conflicts virtually before any physical implementation, we effectively prevented on-site delays and provided the contractors with the precise, clash-free documentation needed for a smooth execution.
