RADISSON HOTEL PROJECT

The Radisson Hotel project in Johannesburg, South Africa was a premium hospitality development managed by LLP Design. Designed to deliver world-class luxury and comfort, the initiative required a meticulous engineering approach to translate initial architectural concepts into highly accurate, constructible models. This ambitious undertaking was structured to maintain the rigorous brand standards of the Radisson group while ensuring a seamless and highly efficient construction phase.

Core technical scope of this three-month contract centered on converting the initial schematic design package into a comprehensive detailed design package. To support the project's precise requirements, the deliverables included the generation of complex detailed designs utilizing Autodesk Revit, alongside the production of comprehensive tender and IFC documentation. This robust digital framework was essential to accurately capture the specific architectural and interior features required for a luxury hotel environment.

Bridging the gap between schematic concepts and physical construction demands rigorous spatial coordination to prevent costly on-site errors. To address these potential challenges, BIM Studio was enlisted to deliver specialized Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. Our team successfully developed the project's interior assets into a highly accurate Level of Development (LOD) 350 model. By proactively utilizing this 3D environment, we resolved complex spatial conflicts virtually, seamlessly streamlining the production of detailed design drawings and providing the contractors with the exact, clash-free documentation needed for a flawless execution.
