SAMHAN HERITAGE HOTEL

The Samhan Heritage Hotel in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia was a prestigious hospitality development executed for the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA). Designed to beautifully blend rich cultural heritage with world-class luxury, the project required meticulous attention to its high-end interior spaces. Working alongside Studio International Engineering Consultants (SIEC) as the lead consultant, the primary objective of this initiative was to elevate the hotel's interior aesthetic while ensuring highly accurate, constructible digital coordination for its premium suites and lounges.

The core technical scope of this project centered on flawlessly transitioning the initial schematic designs into a comprehensive, fully coordinated detailed design package. To support the demanding timeline and high aesthetic standards of the hotel, the required deliverables included the generation of precise Revit drawings, comprehensive tender documentation, and IFC-compliant files. This rigorous digital framework was essential to accurately capture the bespoke architectural features, custom joinery, and intricate interior design layouts required for a luxury hospitality environment.

Translating conceptual luxury into a buildable reality often presents significant spatial and coordination challenges. To bridge this gap and prevent costly on-site errors, BIM Studio was enlisted to deliver specialized interior design Building Information Modeling (BIM) services. Our team successfully developed the project's interior assets into a robust Level of Development (LOD) 350 model. During the critical problem-resolution phase, our experts proactively utilized this 3D environment to identify and resolve complex spatial clashes between the intricate interior elements and the underlying structural framework. By eliminating these conflicts virtually, we seamlessly streamlined the production of the detailed design drawings and provided the contractors with the exact, clash-free documentation needed for a flawless execution.
