Saudi Arabia's monumental heritage and urban development vision, the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) sitewide initiative required extraordinary digital precision to manage its extensive infrastructure. Operating across this massive development, BIM Studio partnered with VTMI Global to deliver highly specialized Building Information Modeling (BIM) services focused strictly on the project's comprehensive vertical transportation networks. Our primary objective was to establish a flawless, data-rich digital foundation for the diverse mobility systems seamlessly integrated throughout the district's varied architectural landscapes.
To address the complex logistical and spatial demands of this sitewide package, our engineering team executed meticulous 3D modeling for a vast array of vertical conveyances, including high-capacity elevators, escalators, and moving walks. A critical phase of this rigorous workflow involved the bespoke creation of highly detailed lift component families tailored specifically to the project's unique design and safety specifications. By proactively conducting comprehensive spatial coordination within the virtual environment, we effectively resolved complex physical intersections between these intricate transit systems and the surrounding structural frameworks long before any physical installation commenced.
In the end, the handover of these fully coordinated BIM models, alongside a comprehensive suite of extracted 2D deliverables (.RVT, .RFA, .DWG, .PDF, .NWC, and .IFC), supplied the installation teams with the exact digital blueprints needed to ensure a smooth, highly efficient sitewide rollout.
