The Qiddiya Northeast Transport Hub and Parking was a significant infrastructure project executed for the Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC). Operating under the Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems BIM Coordination discipline, BIM Studio collaborated with Egis Group as the lead consultant and BUJV as the main contractor. The extensive scope of this project involved delivering highly detailed ELV services across five distinct levels of a massive parking and transportation facility. To support the facility's advanced technological requirements, our team focused heavily on the meticulous modeling and comprehensive documentation of critical operational networks, including Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Building Management Systems (BMS), and complex security infrastructure.
To ensure the flawless integration of these specialized networks, BIM Studio was responsible for updating the central ELV BIM model in Revit to a precise Level of Development (LOD) 400. This rigorous digital process included creating highly customized BIM families based on initial IFC drawings and executing seamless spatial coordination across intersecting architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines. Leveraging a robust suite of digital tools—including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud, supplemented by advanced plugins like Diroots One and PyRevit—our experts successfully managed a highly collaborative workflow. This meticulous approach guaranteed that all digital assets were strictly aligned with international ISO 19650 frameworks and local BIM standards.
Ultimately, the successful delivery of weekly and monthly submissions of coordinated 3D models, detailed clash reports, and various extracted file formats provided the construction teams with the exact digital blueprints required for a seamless project execution
