The road and utilities infrastructure projects for Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Jumeirah, and various Dubai packages represented major urban development initiatives that demanded uncompromising precision and advanced digital engineering. Working in close collaboration with esteemed infrastructure consultants like Al Hikma Architectural Drawing Services, BIM Studio delivered comprehensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) and complete 2D-to-3D conversion services for these extensive networks. Our primary focus was on establishing highly accurate, data-rich digital representations of both wet and dry utilities across all Levels of Development (LOD), ensuring seamless integration and providing accurate earthwork cross-sections and quantity take-offs (QTO) for these complex, large-scale developments.
To navigate the intricate spatial challenges of these expansive areas, our team meticulously modeled gravity networks for drainage and sewer, alongside pressurized networks for water, fire, and irrigation systems. We also seamlessly integrated dry utilities—including street lighting, telecom, and security networks—while simultaneously developing detailed structural drawings for roads, bridges, intersections, and traffic signals. A critical component of this rigorous digital phase was proactively identifying and resolving physical clashes within the dense, underground web of utilities.
