The VIDA Residence Dubai Hills was a prominent residential project developed for EMAAR, requiring highly specialized digital engineering for its exterior systems. Working alongside Siraj Aluminium and Glass LLC as the primary contractor, BIM Studio delivered comprehensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) services specifically tailored for Facade and EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems). Our team was entrusted with executing precise Level of Development (LOD) 400 modeling to support the complex exterior architectural elements of this development.
To ensure flawless physical execution, the project workflow involved meticulous coordination and rigorous clash resolution strategies. Leveraging initial IFC models, detailed 2D drawings, and clear scope demarcations, our experts systematically identified and resolved complex spatial conflicts within the facade systems well before physical construction began. This proactive, data-centric approach directly supported the accurate production of necessary shop drawings, ensuring that the intricate architectural vision aligned perfectly with structural realities.
Upon the successful resolution of the design and coordination phases, BIM Studio transitioned the project data to support the facility's lifecycle management through comprehensive LOD 500 BIM modeling and final documentation. The ultimate project deliverables, which included the clash-free LOD 400 BIM models and the finalized shop drawings, equipped the construction and installation teams with the precise digital tools required for a seamless and highly efficient project handover.
